 Retrofitted measuring system on a saw unit The majority of all measuring equipment produced by HENKE is purchased by customers as practical, efficient ancillary equipment for the HENKE roller conveyors.
All measuring equipment can be put together in as a modular system. Modular systems have a number of advantages, including:
- Easily adapted to fulfil the client’s measuring system requirements
- Short lead and delivery times
- Effective price-performance ratio
- Simple fitting or refitting to existing roller conveyors.
Numerous types of measuring systems have been commissioned by and supplied to well-known saw manufacturers and importers.

Measuring System Categories
 Measuring system for heavy loads HENKE’s modular system encompasses various types of measuring devices. The roller conveyors are designed to permit simple, problem-free retrofitting or refitting of the various measuring systems.
As with the roller conveyors themselves, the programme includes variations ranging from manually adjusted measuring points up to fully automated positioning of the supports using NC controls.
The measuring systems can be divided into 4 basic categories:
- Manually adjusted measuring points, with visual identification of dimensions
- Measuring point adjustment via a hand wheel, digital display of positioning
- NC controlled measuring points
- Fully automated support positioning using NC technology (Helamess)
