Roller Conveyors for Blasting Plants

Roller conveyors for use with blasting machinery are designed for slow, even transportation of heavy components. Special requirements include resistance to high impact stresses during loading/unloading, which necessitate the use of heavy-duty conical mounts and in extreme cases even the use of rubber/metal elements beneath the mounts. These roller conveyors are driven via roller chains and adjustable motors.

Generally roller widths from 1500 to 4000mm are required for a horizontal blasting process. Pure sheet metal blasting units are sometimes built specially for processes when the metal sheets have to remain in upright positions. Roller conveyors incorporating folding tables are available on a bespoke basis. (See bespoke solutions)
