This station lies within a curve of the track and is wider in the centre than at both ends. This project entailed designing the unit for manufacturing the support structure for the glass roof.
This architecture of this roof reflects the surrounding landscape and necessitated the production of 35,000 roof support struts with identical cross sections, but in various lengths and with different end finishes. The special machines needed for manufacturing these struts, i.e. milling, drilling and thred-cutting, were produced by us.
In addition the assembly points for the load intersections had to be manufactured with the utmost precision. Bespoke machines were produced with multiple axes and electronic gauge systems.
Production facilities for manufacturing the roof geometry of the special waste disposal plant in Koelliken. The roof supports for the second largest freestanding roof support system in Europe were manufactured using our machinery.
